In case you guys haven’t noticed… I am obsessed with gold and blue. Like, there should be a gold and blue colour combo anonymous because I am an ADDICT.

This lovely little piece started life out as a rather drab and tired set of drawers, with a broken drawer. I stripped her down (vaguely obscene reference to sanding but hey ho), repaired the drawer with my trusty gorilla wood glue, and got to work in transforming her into the one off piece you see today.

I’d previously done a commission coffee/plant table with this stencil and my heart just longed to do it again, so I stencilled up the top drawers and added those AMAZING handles… She was still missing something though so I went for a rough gold distressing on the feet, just to jazz it up a bit more.

I get major Morocco vibes when I look at it, but I think that could be just my longing for a holiday coming out.
